Industrial Castor Offers Smooth Running And Wear Resistance

ELESA offers a wide range of industrial castor products which meet the needs of clients in a variety of industries and the demands of many different applications. Built for durability and reliable, trouble-free performance, ELESA castors are available in a number of standard configurations including wheel only, brakeless wheels with brackets and zinc plated turning or fixed plates, brakeless wheels with an assembly pass, brakeless wheels with fixed plates and brackets and wheels featuring stainless steel turning plates and brakes as well as an assembly pass.
ELESA's line of industrial castor products are manufactured with injected polyurethane coverings (with a hardness of 55 Shore D) and a solvent, chemical and oil-resistant polyamide based technopolymer center with a central bore. The axles of these castors are designed to allow the wheel bore to rotate freely onto the axle - which itself is a precision calibrated tube which is tightened to the castor's bracket with a nut and screw to achieve the desired torque.
Both fixed plate bracket and turning plate bracket models are built to hold up to loads of as much as 4000N - a load capacity which is actually larger than the capacity of the bracket and wheel assembly in order to ensure their safety. Turning plate bracket industrial castor models feature direct contact between the ball race ring and plate along with two ball turns to provide a high degree of maneuverability and to reduce clearance. These castors are maintenance free and designed to provide a long service life even under tough conditions.
ELESA castors are also available with front actuated brakes which lock both bracket and wheel rotation using a retractible pedal which is both easy to use and takes up a bare minimum of space for lower clearance. Stainless steel or hardened carbon steel springs are available, either of which is fitted with a dual braking tooth to provide secure wheel locking in both directions.
