Humidity Transmitters From Michell

Date Added: 8th November 2011

Michell Instruments range of humidity transmitters includes the WR295, a relative humidity transmitter which uses the Michell Hygrosmart module. This interchangeable module makes recalibrating the instrument a snap - the user can simply replace the sensor head, which dramatically reduces both downtime and the cost of maintenance.

These interchangeable probes, the WR295 transmitter's analog and digital outputs as well as the ability (using compatible software) to select either imperial or metric units of measurement make the Michell WR295 among the most flexible and easy to use humidity transmitters on the market.

This instrument features a measurement range of 0% to 100% relative humidity with accuracy of +/- 2% relative humidity (between 5% and 95%) and stability of less than +/- 1% relative humidity per year and a response time of less than ten seconds. The WR295 is designed to stand up to high humidity environments as well as low and high temperatures alike.

The instruments' probe is capable of operating in temperatures of -30 to 200 degrees Celsius (-22 to 392 degrees Fahrenheit) and the housing of the Michell WR295 can stand up to temperatures of as low as -30 and as high as 70 degrees Celsius (-22 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit).

Also available from Michell Instruments is the WM281 relative humidity transmitter which like the WR295, uses the interchangeable Michell Hygrosmart module which allows for incredibly quick and easy recalibration which minimizes maintenance costs and downtime.

Both digital and analog outputs are included as standard (analog output signals are selected via compatible software, as are whether the instrument uses metric or imperial units of measurement).  Like the rest of the company's line of humidity transmitters, the WM281 offers users a flexible and accurate humidity monitoring solution.
