Bringing new standards of economy for a system builder or an original equipment manufacturer, the XL series of stepper drives prove to be a powerful choice. They are crafted from the L-Series modular drives and the XL displays a remarkable amount of information while it refrains from compromising actual system performance.
With this unit, you get a panel mounting system that has a protection motor overcurrent or short circuit protection that has been designed for an inductance in the range of .8mH - 10mH. It contains a very good drive resolution of 400, 800, 2000 or 4000 steps/rev and includes a very powerful front end software with EASI - tools to make it even more user friendly. It also includes:
- 1.8A , 3.5A & 5.6A RMS rating
- Up to 80V DC bus
- i Versions have Built-in Controller using Parker's EASI code
- Optional CANopen Interface
- Automatic Standby Current Reduction 50% or 70%
- Compatible with Parker high performance stepper motors
In comparison, we also have the ViX digital microstepping driver series, which is an all digital form and offers a remarkably unsurpassed level of performance, while utilising a very impressive control over a digital loop. It also comes bundled with an enhanced torque speed envelope that helps to eliminate the midrange instability problem. The intelligent damping control will help to reduce settling type by as much of a factor of four, so this significantly enhances the precision for equipment based OEMs.
More importantly these stepper drives come with a full digital design and offers a panel or DIN rail mounting unit. It also has a field orientated control to help improve the lower speed performances and can be fully programmed for a resolution of up to 51,200 steps per rev. This is a great compact package and is very compatible with all Parker high performance stepper motors. It also offers an automatic standby current reduction, which can be a very useful addition in many applications. It also includes:
