Acetal Gears
Features - injection-moulded gears with machined bores, pressure angle is 20°, straight-cut teeth. suitable for running temperatures up to 100°C with an intermittent temperature limit of 150°C.
Acetal gears are a low-cost choice for many applications with their high-strength, low-friction and high chemical resistance.
Delrin Gears
Features - plastic gears with milled teeth and machined bores, pressure angle of 20°, straight-cut teeth. Suitable for running temperatures up to 100°C with an intermittent temperature limit of 160°C.
Being machined for greater profile accuracy, Delrin gears have a better mechanical performance and longer life than Acetal gears.
Brass Spur Gears
Features - keyed/grub screw hub, material - quality grade 8d (DIN 58405) brass (MS58), milled, straight interlocking teeth, pressure angle of 20°, straight-cut teeth.
Brass spur gears are the work horse of the project in hazardous environments where sparking would be potentially disastrous.
Steel Spur Gears with Hub or without hub
Features - keyed/grub screw hub, milled, straight interlocking teeth, pressure angle of 20°, manufactured to DIN 3967, quality grade 8, material is 9 SMn 28K up to Ø80mm and C45 over Ø80mm.
Gears with Modules of 2.5 and above are all C45 steel. High quality machined steel spur gears for general industrial use.
Stainless Steel Spur Gears with hub
Features - keyed/grub screw hub, milled, straight interlocking teeth, pressure angle of 20°, manufactured to DIN 3967, quality grade 8, material is 1.4305 stainless steel
