Power Transmission Components From Huco

For over 44 years, Huco have been manufacturing a complete range of both off-the-shelf power transmission components for OEM machines, replacements for workshop and factory machinery and development projects. These, with the addition of the Dynotork range of piston air motors and gearboxes in 2005, provide a one-stop-shop for complete small power train components.
Huco Dynatork's power transmission components include stock gears, plastic bevel gearboxes, right angle drive gearboxes,V-belts and pulleys, drive chains, threaded spindles, universal joints, rod ends and linkages, collars, clamps and keys as well as brakes and clutches.
Dynatork Gearboxes are supplied as an integrated option to Dynatork piston air motors in 1, 2 or 3 stages to give a remarkable range of reduction gear ratios between 1:3.7 to 1:308. They can be constructed with aluminium or acetal (hard-wearing, stable & machine-able thermoplastic) bodies to match the air motor selected.
- Standard sealed-for-life lubrication is synthetic gear grease. Grease to suit nuclear, chemical and food industry requirements can be specified.
- Ø14mm x 30mm effective length keyed output shaft to BS 4999. Keyway to BS 4235 Part 1.
- Centring bore in accordance with DIN 332 to facilitate mounting of drive components.
- Sizes 1, 3 & 7 to suit Dynatork 1, Dynatork 3 & Dynatork 7 motors respectively
- Planetary Type 931 Size 1 & 3 - Aluminium (integral body with piston air motor)
- Planetary Type 911 Size 1 & 3 - Acetal (integral body with piston air motor)
- Wormwheel Sizes 1, 3 and 7 (mated to flanged piston air motor)
- Helical Sizes 1, 3 and 7 (mated to flanged piston air motor)
Huco L-Box Gearboxes are miniaturised right-angle drives offer two alternative specifications to meet the need for a standard component with differing levels of application and economy.
Both models have a 1:1 ratio and a maximum backlash of 2°. Gear cases are injection moulded in filled Nylon 66 for low moisture take-up, low thermal expansion and high rigidity.
Huco T-Box Gearboxes have a similar specification to the Huco L-Box but offer two ratios and three shaft configurations.
All Huco L-Box & T-Box gearboxes have ground and hardened steel shafts, a sintered bronze bearing system, electrical isolation between shafts and housing have options for steel and acetal gears, are lubricated for life and are suitable for manual and short-term drive applications.
Brakes, Clutches and Torque Limiters are an essential part of many drive trains are shaft brakes, clutches and torque limiters to control the drive and protect the driven machine. Huco has an extensive range of these transmission components to meet most conceivable requirements.
Products include miniature friction clutches, electromagnetic clutches and brakes, magnetic particle clutches and brakes, and Permanent magnet clutches and brakes.
Power Transmission Couplings are used in a number of ways to suit the application; whether it be to allow for shaft misalignment, to allow easy de-coupling, provide additional support for the drive shaft or to allow axial movement between the power drive and the machine.
Huco's very large range of precision couplings include sliding disc (Oldham), universal lateral, multi-beam, single beam, step, beam, membrane (disc), stainless steel bellows, electrodeposited nickel bellows, double-loop, miniature flexible jaw, non-contact magnetic and plastic universal joint, bore adaptors, jaw power couplings, nylon sleeve gear couplings and rigid couplings.
