Industrial Imaging In A Range Of Resolutions

Date Added: 4th May 2012

Stemmer Imaging offers a number of different GigE Vision compliant cameras, including models which provide the functionality needed for applications ranging from security and surveillance to industrial imaging in manufacturing environments.

Among the company's many GigE Vision compliant offerings is the Manta Range. This range is comprised of economical, yet robust and full featured imaging instruments. These GigE cameras are available in color and monochrome models and use Sony CCD sensor technology to provide high quality imaging in a range of resolutions from VGA to 2 megapixels.

Low cost doesn't have to mean poorly made and the Manta range of GigE cameras are ample proof. The cost of these cameras is kept down through efficient design and components which offer both high performance and low cost.

Using a single board architecture for its electronics along with a robust housing which allows it to keep performing in tough industrial environments, the Manta range provides dependable performance for quality control, machine vision, inspection, medical imaging and OEM products where intensive image pre-processing is not needed.

Even the least costly of the industrial imaging Manta range provide color interpolation and correction (in color models only) and smart features which rival or exceed most competing instruments of their price range such as white balance, auto exposure, gamma control, gain, sharpness (in color models), saturation and hue, along with binning and user-friendly bandwidth control, along with other features.

For applications which demand high quality HD imaging, Stemmer Imaging also offers HD GigE Vision cameras, including the GX 1910; the camera offers a surprising 240 MB per second data transfer speed via its integrated dual GigE Vision interface without sacrificing anything in the way of resolution.

Designed for applications which require highly precise imaging, the GX 1910 is ideal for uses which include surveillance and security, ophthalmic and other medical imaging applications, industrial inspection and quality control and other machine vision applications.

The GX 1910 features a control interface which offers three-axis lens control and auto-iris capabilities for adaptability under changing light and for imaging moving objects, such as is commonly the case in outdoor imaging applications.
