The Stemmer Imaging FGI interface board is a fully GigE Vision compliant board designed for the Sony FCB E series of color block camera products. Part of Stemmer Imaging's CVC GE range, the FGI interface board provides Sony's FCB E cameras with GigE Vision capabilities.
The cameras themselves provide many advanced features, such as HAD CCD sensors which are capable of true progressive scan functionality. The range is available with zoom lenses which include 18x, 28x or 36x along with an integrated 12x digital zoom feature for even more power and control in imaging applications.
The block camera also offer a motorized iris, white balance, enhanced image stabilization capabilities and the ability to perform in illumination as low as .25 Lux. They're a versatile solution for a wide range of imaging needs, including industrial imaging and surveillance/security applications.
The capabilities of the Sony FCB E color block camera range are greatly enhanced by Stemmer Imaging's new FGI interface board. The board adds functionality to FCB E cameras including image transmission for distances of up to 100 meters using standard cat 5 Ethernet cabling.
The FGI interface board also provides these cameras with twice the resolution of previous versions which used interlaced image by using the cameras progressive scan capabilities to the fullest. The board's GigE Vision and GeniCam compliant user interface provides users with the total control they need for highly demanding imaging applications.
