Philip Norris is a Chartered Engineer and a practicing senior project manager of large multi-discipline and programmes of smaller specialist projects. His specialist skills gained from a successful career in construction, rail, transportation, and utilities results in wholly appropriate and highly professional solutions.
He has also been providing hands-on project management rail industry enhancement projects with a significant building and civil element such as scoping and planning station regeneration, signalling, transit DC power substations, infrastructure maintenance and civil and building construction projects.
In his spare time, Philip is also using his many construction and technical talents as a senior volunteer member of the Tutbury Eco Power team.
Andrew Long is the guy who attends the engineering events, exhibitions and conferences. He also fancies himself as a bit of a videographer and can be seen with camera in hand in the UK and other global engineering events.
Andrew has a marketing diploma and has been dealing with engineering suppliers and manufacturers since 1998. His experience in PR and advertising enables him to get the story from both a product and promotional perspective.
Added to this, Andrew works with a variety of companies on their SEO and online marketing activities and can therefore optimise online content so it can reach its full potential.
John Allen has an understanding of what’s in the box. He has a grasp of technology and how the many components and moving parts work together. He is therefore well placed to comment on the physical properties of products and their applications.
John has an electronics and design engineering background and likes to build things in his spare time. When he is not writing he can be seen building pumps, rewiring and reworking circuit boards and/or modifying circuits and pipelines for electrical and flow use.
